Training Center Won TTQS Silver Award

TTQS

Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training of Council of Labor Affairs has designed the Taiwan Train Quali System (TTQS) to evaluate the capability of training institutions and training units in Taiwan. The TTQS accepts the appraisal application from the public and private sectors every year and the Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training send experts to evaluate those applicants on their sites. The evaluation items are divided into five categories and 19 indicators. Evaluation results are rated as Fail (not passing the threshold), Pass (passing the threshold), Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum awards. In 2012, there were 1993 firms or organizations participating in the TTQS assessment. Among them, about 1% won Gold awards and 5% won Silver awards.

Under the support of Director Lin of Department of Personnel, this Training Center, after three months of preparation, enrolled itself in 2013 TTQS evaluation and won a Silver award. The judges said that they were highly interested in and gave high recognition to many of our training courses, especially "Apprenticeship in the Public Sector" and "Lectures on International Situations for Mid-level and High-level Executives".

The training courses offered by this Training Center have obtained the endorsement and recognition of professional organizations and they also distinguish this Center from many other training institutions. After winning this award, we at the Center vow to uphold the four core principles of professionalism, quality, innovation, and effectiveness to design and plan a wide range of diverse and rich training courses for our colleagues in Taichung City Government.
